The psychology of force course examines such attributes as mental preparation, communication skills, and public perception in the modern application of force.  Additionally, the course will cover the shift in mindsets in the newer generation of officers as well as expand on such areas as fight, flight or freeze, creating our own situations, and offensive versus defensive mindsets in relation to the application of force.

Cancellation Policy

Students needing to withdraw from a course should contact academy staff at (210) 362-5291 or [email protected] no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class. Failure to do so may result in a 25% cancellation fee. Repeated violations of the 72 hour cancellation policy may result in restricted ability to register for future courses.
