The Protective Measures Course (PMC)  provides participants with a basic understanding of how to identify risks and vulnerabilities to a facility, determine additional security needs for a special event/public gathering, and identify and apply physical and procedural protective measures to mitigate the threat of an improvised explosive device (IED) or vehicle-borne IED. Cancellation Policy

Students needing to withdraw from a course should contact academy staff at (210) 362-5291 or [email protected] no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class. Failure to do so may result in a 25% cancellation fee. Repeated violations of the 72 hour cancellation policy may result in restricted ability to register for future courses.
