This course teaches identifying items of evidence at a crime scene and documenting the crime scene through photography and video recording.  This class includes practical exercises. 

The second day of class will include a night shoot.  The hours are 12:00pm-9:00pm.  Cameras will be provided, but students may bring their own digital SLR camera and tripod.  No "point and shoot" cameras will be permitted.  Students should also bring a laptop. 

This is one of the courses for the Criminal Investigator Certification Program Curriculum.

Cancellation Policy

Students needing to withdraw from a course should contact academy staff at (210) 362-5291 or [email protected] no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class. Failure to do so may result in a 25% cancellation fee. Repeated violations of the 72 hour cancellation policy may result in restricted ability to register for future courses.
