This is a specialized class for Street Crime Units, Patrol Officers, and Interdiction Officers.  This course educates officers in proper techniques and procedures for lawful criminal interdiction patrol stops.  

Training includes: Criminal Interdiction, Roadside Interview Techniques, Indicators of Deception, Legal Issues, Contraband and Currency Seizures, and Commercial Vehicle Interdiction.

Students needing to withdraw from a course should contact academy staff at (210) 362-5291 or [email protected] no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class. Failure to do so may result in a 25% cancellation fee. Repeated violations of the 72 hour cancellation policy may result in restricted ability to register for future courses.
