This course covers the use of the weapon mounted light and its advantages and disadvantages in low light environments. This course teaches the deployment and proper use of the WML providing a great advantage in low light for the shooter in target assessing, shooting with accuracy, concealment, and searches.

Student will need:

Pistol with mounted weapon light

Three pistol magazines

200 rounds ammunition

Holster with retention that supports the pistol weapon mounted light

Magazine carrier/pouch

Eye and hearing protection

Clothing appropriate for the weather Food and water

*Recommend using duty belt or any issued gear

Cancellation Policy

Students needing to withdraw from a course should contact academy staff at (210) 362-5291 or [email protected] no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled start time of the class. Failure to do so may result in a 25% cancellation fee. Repeated violations of the 72 hour cancellation policy may result in restricted ability to register for future courses.
